Okolona woman sues over SWAT team break-in

You guys are simply ignoring the facts. There is actually a reason why the guy (who STILL HAS CUSTODY) of his kids had them, rather than their mother - the photos were taken to document possible sexual abuse by mom. CPS investigated and amazingly found FOR HIM. The criminal case was dismissed by the prosecutor once he got all the facts. The door was her least concern - remember she suffered injuries as well. The investigation sucked in this case, and that led to the SWAT team doing what it did. Don't blame the individual operators - unless they really did commit excessive force on her - I blame the commanders and the detective who took out a warrant and misused the matrix (whether intentionally or unintentionally).

The case is way past the "getting tossed out" phase - they've already tried that with no success. It's almost to the point of the court finding FOR her without a trial. It will be settled for a nice chunk of change, there will be no appeal (you don't appeal a settlement) and she'll get the check within 10 days, that's how it works.

You don't have any naked pictures of YOUR kids? There was never an allegation that these were sexual poses, in fact, they were more clinical than anything.

I'm sure the city will pay out they always do, thats one reason we get sued over everything. Of course we ( police ) didnt do things the nice way again and some someone feathers got ruffled, so the ATTY told her to sue because they always pay out something. But as someone stated next inservice im sure we will hear clearly established law on this case...lol . If we have to serve warrents just knock and if no one answers walk away............just put down that no one was home or answered the door. Hopefully we will start to police agan after we get a new mayor / chief and stop responding to problems after they happen.

well i think its stupid how you feel. this was not ther fault. from the great eazy e "f the police" and you too.... i think those were personal pictures and they are his kids... his choice not yours.
