Reasonable? Courtgate started over people missing court and has transpired into you can't clock in at 9:01am or you get in trouble for being late. Don't you think they moved Mutchler out of there for a reason and replaced him with LT. Hitler? And these little policy emails now where you have to click in the email to acknowledge the policy...do you think they're doing this for your benefit? They're doing it to hang you out to dry.

Cudos for what? Completely destroying any morale officers had, running this dept into the ground by overloading it with stupid policies, not having the guts to stand up to the media,public or any body else that questioned the police in anything, disrespecting the officers under him time and time again, taking the worst of the former depts into merger instead of the best of the two? Shall I go on? I dont know who you are but you are not in touch with whats been going on around here for the last 6 years or so. I give him no credit at all. I honestly cant think of one good thing hes done since hes been here. Ive been a cop for 21 years and he is by far the worst chief I've worked for.

The Chief had NOTHING to do with people getting hammered or not getting hammered for not going to court. You are very naive to think he sits down and examines these cases. There are some real cops still in PSU and they fitlered through most of the BS and got rid of what they could. A couple of the apple polishers tried to hand some people out tot dry or find that they were guilty of some other policy violation during the scope of their investigation. The Chief did the worst thing possible and enact knee jerk reactionary policies to an ignorant, ill written and factually inacurate news story.

What he should have done was to call the reporter our on all his factual blunders and informed him that if he could provide him with a case and not a yellow journalistic piece of tabloid sensationalism then he would be happy to examine is on a case by case basis.

What he did was panic and open investigations that were illegal and violated KRS 15.520
