Man wielding hammer shot and killed by police

I'm sorry but I truly, AS A CITIZEN OF LOUISVILLE, do not understand these community meetings and vigils being held for a man that tried to break into his neighbors apartment and then assault police officers with a deadly weapon. I'm very confused by this. I'm most confused because I've never heard of any community meeting at this church about young black men continuing to kill each other in our streets every day. I've never heard of any community meeting about the drug and gang problem amongst youth in this city. I've never heard of any community meeting about domestic violence in the black community. I've never heard of any community meeting about women leaving their young children unattended to go prostitute themselves. Do the members of Gospel Missionary Church not care about these issues? Do the members of the community not care? Is the only issue here to discuss really some white cops and a mentally ill violent suspect being shot to death after the cops tried to diffuse the situation?

I am so sick of everybody making the cops in this city out to be the issue when we ignore every other issue that took years to manifest in our society. This is such a joke. Your community meeting is a joke. You hate the cops, don't call 911. Your meetings serve no purpose but to BREED more hatred and division between the police and the community. I find it amazing-- I don't have any problems with the police. I don't need to bridge any gap or go to any meeting. But I also pay my taxes, don't support criminals running my city, and don't break the law.
