Appeals court favors firefighters in back pay suit |
RE: Appeals court favors firefighters in back pay suit
It's not sucking up...they have to pay all that overtime because of being shortstaffed. Another well thought out and implemented plan!

I guess that they didn't want the bad press coming out on the eve of the kickoff of the big Brashear Gubenatorial Fundraising campaign that his 2 million dollar furlough savings cost them more because they had to pay so much overtime to fill slots on furlough days. Very few of the actual positions that got furlough days went unmanned. Employee A had to take a furlough day and Employee B who was off that day got paid a full day of overtime to fill their position. Doing the math his 2 million dollar savings plan cost them 3 million dollars to implement.

I was wondering why your Division maps no longer differentiate the the beats. I found your old Division maps with the beats in different colors very very helpful. Thank you
