Whatever outcome that come's out of Jackie's investigation will be justice, regardless something need's to be done, weather it's facing departmental punishment or jail time. But she need's to be punished. I dont understand the Court issue, why Chief White picked the year 2007, he could have just implemented a new policy that said from this date forward no missing court, he even admitted the dept has flaw's in the court tracking system. This is a good way to not make officer's not want to write a ticket or arrest anyone, cause guess what--when you write a ticket or arrest someone you have to go to court, so if your in fear of facing Whites departmental sanction's of not being in court then that is just going to make you not want to arrest or cite anyone, which is bad. Oh do you think that will make crime go up????? yes yes yes. And what if you have child care issues, someone to watch your children, i assume you have to take them to court with you and subject them to possibly getting hurt. As for me i'm not going to take my child to court with me and put them in that atmosphere, heck no. Im sure we will all get day's out of it, but that's their way of getting to save that money they depended on by unlawfully charging us for the take home car's. Im sure there will be another topic on here when White starts handing out the day's, and how many officer's will be suspended and off the streets, the division i work in we are alway's way below minimums, we are alway's short of people working the streets, but with the day's for missing court the only people who will be hurting is the public. The National FOP refunds officer's their money for the day's suspended, so your getting it back, but it's sad the public is the one's who will be hurting with all these officer's not working the streets. Chief White should concentrate on morale for this dept, the morale is terrible.
