"Assistant Commonwealth Attorney Mark Baker sent the public integrity investigators a memo this April saying, "before this case even gets a consideration to go forward, I would want to see the following: every officer of that organization past and present needs to come to my office, state they believe she misappropriated funds, state they wish to prosecute, state they are going to cooperate with you, state they are in possession of and are willing to produce all the documents supporting the questioned transactions like by yesterday and state they are ready and willing to testify at the grand jury and any other proceedings as needed."

I have been a Police Officer for a long time. I have never seen a case where every victim had to come into the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office before they went forward. That is the job of the Detectives investigating the case. The victim's may have to be called in to testify at a trial but that is it. It looks like the PIU guys did a bang up job on the case, unfortunately the Chief's Office and the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office have been dropping this ball for an incredible 5 years. This is outrageous! What is taking so long?

She should be immediately suspended now that all of this is public knowledge and reassigned to an area where she has no police powers and no contact with the public.( Sort of describes the Chief's Office) Every other Officer under investigation has to go through this until the discipline is handed down or they are exonerated.
