First my opinion means little to you... then you say it means NOTHING to you.. then you write yet another long winded post? Which is it? Because you sure did write a response as if you cared about what I said to you.

I will address your last line though, because I skipped the rest of your post. I've called 911 3 times in my life. I'm almost 30. Once, I witnessed a fatal accident. Second, I saw a young man getting attacked in the middle of the street. Third, my car was broken into. I hope that's ok with you, but if it's not, somehow I think I'll manage to go on.

I don't think they are referring to all cops as heros, I think that word is saved for the ones who die or suffer serious injury or have at least taken huge risk in their jobs. Supporting Heros is a group that responds and lends support, financial and otherwise, to families of fallen police, fire and EMS and not the ones who are just showing up for work everyday and night. You are so bitter that we have such a group to honor our dead, maybe you should put that energy into creating something that honors the dead of your profession, truck drivers are important to the world but so are first responders, if we wish to show respect to the fallen and their families that is our buisness, get over it. Now I'll stand by for 4-5 paragraphs of "blah, blah, blah, same old worn out arguments blah, blah , blah." Which no body will read because we already know what it's gonna say.
