Mayor defends $94,000 hire amid job freeze

When you take into account that SOME of the occupations HAVE less than 100,000 people in them, theygive the number correspondingly based upon ratios. Both cops and truckers have far more than 100,000, and since you cannot compare an inequal number of employees, it is based upon the ratio PER 100,000.

The simple fact is that mr talk smack, THOUGHT he could weasel out of the truth once again, but he failed miserably.

If you run the numbers, commercial fisherman have about 30-33 thousand people, and yet they die at over 7 times the rate of cops. If people believe the cow patty that cops are heroes who put their lives on the line every day, then they should be kissing the feet of fisherman who face more 7 times more danger in a few months of the year than cops do all year long.

You cant bs the numbers, they show that you cops are NOT laying your lives on the line, its that simple. Now, I know that the author of the last post wont admit he made a fool of himself, either intentionally or unintentionally, but the numbers dont lie.
