As to the serious nature of the gunshots, 1 they were called less than life threatening right away on the news, so I guess you would need to take that up with the paramedics who called in the information so the hospital could be ready for them.

2 IF the neighbor and the girlfriend were given escorted rides to the hospital, I feel safe in saying it was only because it was convenient. If the neighbor had intervened in a non-police shooting he would have been left to his own devices in the ambulance,as almost EVERY other non-police victim is. There was another shooting 2 days later that didnt get an escort, I guess because it wasnt officer involved huh?

3 Under your pretense that cops cannot make the call as to the seriousness of the gunshot, why isnt EVERY gunshot victim escorted with closed roadways?

They are ONLY not servants in the sense that I wouldnt ask them to serve me and my guests dinner, other than that, they ARE public servants.
