for the comment at 6:08am There will be a time when you need a officer for help and they will come to your aid its a shame that they risk there lives everyday for little punks like you, who does not appreciate it! Of course they will rush to the aid of another officer to help, would you not rush to your mother sister father or brother if they to was hurt. They want to return to their loved ones as much as you do put yourself in there shoes see what they have to see everyday until then shut up... and keep your communist remarks to your self.

As a parent of a police officer I find your statement offensive. These men and women put their lives on the line every day for ignorant, ungrateful scum as yourself. They deserve all the "perks" that can be afforded them. They deserve the best equipment, pay and special treatment that the tax-payers can give. The citizens of Louisvile should expect and even demand that the LMPD show one of their own the SPECIAL treatment that was afforded this officer.

I would love to continue this conversation with you FACE to FACE. However, I know that cowards like you act big when they can hide behind computer screens. I will waste NO MORE of my time nor energy responding to coward such as yourself.

If people would hang up their Cell phones, turn down the radio, pay attention to what's going on around them while driving, maybe they would see the Ambulance behind them, and spare me the BS about not knowing what the hell I am talking about, Being a former EMT-B and responding Code-3 (that's with the big shiny lights and loud noises) I am well-aware of inattentive drivers maybe it should be a crime not to yeild right-of-way, and move over so an ambulance can pass you...oh wait, it is!

Maybe if people drove like they are supposed to, closing down the interstate wouldn't be necessary. so sit at home eat your cheetos. and watch MSNBC.
