Continuing the Battle

Of course I dont know each and every one of you, but the representation here is that not one single cop cares that other cops break traffic laws with impugnity. For pointing out logic and the truth, ive been called about everything in the book and then some. As for telling you who I am, what more do you wanna know? I gave a name to one person, with the expectation of privacy, that name is now here on this forum. I will be happy to tell you what I have done wrong. I admitted to getting a speeding ticket last september, i believe, and yeah, i checked my gps and I was speeding. Ive listed it numerous times that I am a truck driver, or at least have been for the past 15 years. Now im still involved in the industry, but dont drive as often.

Im really not sure what you want to know, as far as who I am, because if you think I will really give out my name or ssn, then youre mistaken. With the barrage if immaturity that I have received from 95% +- I would have to be a fool to put that information out there.

I dont think hes necessarily degrading anyone... Hes stating the facts... Cant argue with that... He never stated he was perfect. Hes stating his profession.. He says he dont hate cops he says he dosent agree with cops who dont enforce the laws rather...breaking them... He kinda has a valid point and I am basically reading and posting from a neutral standpoint.. I myself know lots of cops and they are all honorable... So you cant call me bias... Yes I have been guilty of traffic offenses also... But I have a radar detector and use it for saftey reasons... Can you honestly say you have driven your police car under or @ the posted speed limit when your off duty or not responding to a high priority run? I mean I just call it like I see it... Sure I have been known to run a red light or two when its 3 am and no traffic is comming in either direction.. Why do I want to waste gas I PAY FOR?? Not the city government... We pay (civilians) for our vehicles which includes upkeep maintence, gas ect... I pay about 750 a month to drive my ride including gas... I dont even agree with the fees implied by Jerry and I dont have a take home car... I am on the police's side and always have been... All this guys trying to say is enforce the laws dont break them...

I got a good experience to share... I was stopped by a 3rd Division officer THAT WAS DOING HIS JOB! I was speeding.. I pulled over because I had no reason to run and never will... I gave him my current insurance, registration and CDL class A with all my endorsements I studied hard to get (Tanker, TRIPLES, and Hazmat) which is Irrevelant but just proving I drive a truck professionally/safely too! I told him I had alot on my mind, he took the time to talk to me and calm me down and tell me to be careful that he didnt want to see me get hurt driving that fast.. He even gave me his number to come ride along sometime... He was very professional and courteous.. I told him I didnt want to get out of a ticket and he ran my info talked to me some more about the personal problems I had @ the time (why I was on the road driving fast in the first place) and sent me on my way...

See it really does happen... THERE ARE NICE COPS OUT THERE! That enforce the law... Had he decided to write me.. I would have paid my fine or went to traffic school and not complained about it.. BUT I GOT A BREAK! I didnt ask for it....
