Continuing the Battle

I didn't ever get a chance to see one of them, but I understand that the Chief blew a gasket over them. Neither he nor Abramson have any concept of what they are up against. Every time they make a move they fail to plan for future moves.

I t is like a chess match for us and our opponents are 2nd graders. There are more of us than there are of them. There are more ideas form highly intelligent people on our side. The Mayor's office perceives us as a bunch of knuckle draggers. We have folks with more degreees than they are aware of. We have folks that have lived real lives and dealt with real people not just ******** up to the professional politician that has become stagnant in his thinking.

We heard Obama ask the country for change, change we can believe in. That is what Louisville needs. We have been stuck in Abramson's rut for too many years. We need a different set of values and ideals. We could use a fresh perspective on what this town needs.

There is nothing that says you cannot give a motorist your business card and tell them you are off duty and it would be nice if they wrote a letter to the chief saying how they appreciated the help this off duty officer rendered. It documents itself, the Chief will send the person back a letter thanking them for writing and you get a letter for your file and a copy. then we take all these letters to the media.

Just thinking outside the box.

How did he stop it? How can he control what you give to the person you help in your off time. He can't control you off the clock too. Now if you were getting paid then I could see it, but you're not.
