Ill mention this again, according to the bureau of labor statists, find them yourself, being a cop is NOT even in the top 10 of most hazardous/deadly occupations. I am a truck driver, and they ARE listed.

You are perpetuating the stereotype that you are in danger every moment of every work day, but the simple truth is, you are NOT.

Ill challenge you to give statistics to back up your claim, how many cops are killed every day? Why do statistics not coincide with your baseless opinions?

Also, I have my carry permit, and will call you AFTER I have finished protecting my family should someone beak in, and also, if my vehicle breaks down, I dont call the police, I call a tow truck, which according to your line of thought, makes their jobs more dangerous than yours.

As far as the front page of this website, lets look at November 1, a cop died after chasing a perp for a block, OF A HEART ATTACK, because he was fat and out of shape. That hazard is far more prevalent in the truck driving community. The only truth exposed here, is that cops are desperate for evidence to support their claims of constant life threatening situations, so they will use ANY example they can twist to fit their agenda.

Again, I will point out that statistically truckers die at 6 times the national highway fatality rate.

Cops simply have NO shame, you flagrantly break the law, and then expect to be treated as heros JUST because you wear a badge.

I was in the military, but that doesnt make me a hero. I risked my life once to pull a paralyzed woman out of a burning truck, but still dont refer to myself as a hero, merely compassionate and helpful.
