New police fees prompt racing events to be canceled

Actually, they do. CD reimburses metro government for all officers assigned to work on their property during major events. They do not reimburse for the officers assigned to the traffic detail, but considering the amount of money brought into the community by these events, I would say the fact they reimbuirse the city for the officers working on their grounds is fairly respectable, considering no other organization does the same.
