what you say is very true but the problem here is that the media goes only to that source, they dont try to get the truth, so , the only story the people get is the one they are told by people in certain positions who are told to say a certain thing , they lie and the officers seem to be banging their heads against a wall trying to get the truth out. i agree with you ,it is up to each individual to stay informed and they deserve the truth -which they dont get. people now days more than before need to question their government about whats going on and hold their leaders to truthful government leadership because thats how a democracy survives. dont get confused- do not question but obey the lawful orders of a police officer when he or she tells you do do something, but question and hold accountable those people in governmet who are not truthful in any area of government.
