Two men killed in separate incidents overnight

The Homicide Unit has worked 35 and solved 23. The numbers were better as of July 31st....Solved 23 of 30, but since we have had 5 murders in the first 8 days of August that hurts. PIU has worked 2 murders I believe, with the 2 little girls hit and killed

37 murders so far this year... about 10-12 down from last year at this time. We ended with I think 76 last year.
