2008 Contract Passes

WOW get over yourself. Yeah Metrosafe is soooo good they make sure to tell us everytime something dangerous is going on at a scene and we need to stage until its secure...YEAH RIGHT!!! Do you know how many times I have been in fights working for EMS?? I DONT CARRY ANY WEAPONS!!! When someone decides they wanna buck up to me you know what I have to do??? I have to go knuckle to knuckle, toe to toe with them. We dont even have encoders on 80% of our radios. I have to find some time in there to get to my radio (which is all the way down on my belt because they took all the shoulder mics away from us for some unknown reason) make sure I give my unti number and say either "start police code 3" or "10-30".I dont have an inspector gadget tool belt to help me.... Now I am not down playing the role of the police by any means... in fact you all get my utmost respect annd appreciation.... sometimes though police need to realize they are not the only ones risking their lives for little pay because Jerry couldnt care any less about public safety employees.
