for the most part you are right. But not all the way. I know some officers who were put in for trying to save the life of a small child (lifting a car off of her) after a sh**head ran from the police. These officers (if they get it) deserve the award and should be proud of getting it. They tried their best and did everything they could (beyond their job) for this child.

Not all the awards given are BS. Some are well deserved.
