this is what was said in the prior post. As for if there are officers with more time on that have day work, tough sh*T. Put in your time as seniority has to count for something, or are you one of those who think with a couple of years on you should be treated the same as someone with 15 or more? Notice, I did not attack you like you did to me in your email. Some of the problem with this department is too many people looking out only for themselves and not for us as a whole. It is a new generation coming into this place and I look forward to getting my 20 and handing over to them. Lets concentrate on a contract that benifits everyone and not one that seperates the benifits according to where we work or what we do.

Well, you came to work here knowing what the shifts are. As for the 4-10 shift if it is no big deal for you tell you Major you want to work 8 hrs shift and go to a rotation like everyone else has. ALOT of former officers on both sides pulled these shifts for years knowing they would get to daywork when they had the time to get there. go cry somewhere else on your senority or why you cannot get to daywork.

maybe your division needs to look at how the 4th does its 4-10s. It is on the old County A-B plan where they have every other weekend off. Every wednesday everyone works so it is a detail day for one side or the other. They really like the plan there and it works and they don't bitc* about having to do their jobs.
