White in running for Chicago police chief

The hiring of Chief White should be an insult to ALL LMPD Officers. Regardless of race or how good or bad he may be at being Police Chief ,couldn't someone be promoted from within? Former county of city it wouldn't have mattered because all his hiring did was for Jerry to tell the Police that there was nobody at LMPD qualified to lead the department. This is NOT true, there a many at LMPD, former city and county that are more than qualified to lead LMPD. Was he hired for his qualifications..............yes..was one of those qualifications his race, yes. Not racist just the truth, get over it!
