White in running for Chicago police chief

I know of Chicago, been there done that and keep intouch with those who are still there. I can tell you that Chicago PD is not happy about someone from the outside taking over as the new leader (loose term). They want one of their own, someone who knows what is going on and the officers to lead them.

Just read the Chicago newspapers. I have a couple of relatives up there, both of who are originally from Louisville and still come home regularly, and they tell me that Chicago is truly getting wild. Not as bad as Detroit, yet, but ... pretty bad.
