Firefighters plan Derby protests after contract talks stall

I am so happy to see that the fire union has some good strong leadership. Where in the world is our president....out of town, singing with his band, who knows but he sure is not leading this union. Why don't we go with the IAFF and follow and protest the mayor everyday, everywhere he goes. Be at every ribbon cutting and park opening (since that is all he ever does) and show that we deserve a contract, so does the IAFF, the teamsters, the lt.'s and capt's. The overall consumer index has gone up 13% in the last year and our pay has increased 1.5 % per year for the last three years.....this is a tragedy.
