Chief apologizes for officers actions at skating rink

Yeah, that's pretty much what a friend of mine there said. If you say "sorry" at any point in a paragraph, it translates into an apology. I don't know what he may have said individually, but the gist of what he said in the "public" part of the meeting was that he was sorry that it had to happen, but that the officers had to respond to protect themselves. Maybe someone from the PD should start taping these events so that they can show the entire, unedited discussion on government TV?

Even if we give him that he didnt have to encourage people to file complaints. Or how about even not making any comments until the investigation was completed. Why cater to any group that demands details during an investigation?

Why hasn't anyone called the Fire Marshal to ask him what the capacity is at that facility - it seems ripe for a "nightclub" incident. Too many kids, too little supervision, relatively dark. Does anyone check the kids going in? When's the last time Buechel VFD paid them a surprise inspection visit?
