That is low, I don't condone that type of comment nor does any other real cop. We all wear different uniforms, but all stand for the same cause. I am thankful for our corrections officers and Deputy Sheriffs, if it weren't for a Deputy there might have been more than one lmpd officer killed in the line of duty. I may not have been here to type this out. All officers use discretion on how things are handled. So what? People are blaming LMPD for this thing at the skating rink, does that surprise you. It doesn't me anymore. It used to. I respect all of my compadres. Sorry if I mispelled any word in this paragraph.

PEACE BROTHERS AND SISTERS

I wouldnt take it that far. Many JCSO are former police officers who of course have had training. And even good training can lead to bad outcomes.

You're a joke if you can't respect your fellow brothers and sisters who wear the badge.

I hope that every LMPD officer who reads this figures out who wrote it, and does the right thing with this bozo. Obviously, he has no clue what the SO is responsible for doing in Jefferson County and Kentucky.

If you've only attended 3 funerals, apparently you don't get out of Jefferson County much. I've attended that many in the last year. Cheek and Hans were both assassinated, the exact same thing could happen to any LMPD officer at any time, unfortunately. Ask the LPD officers who responded to those scenes.

Hey Guys. High School is over. Lets stay professional and remember why we all took the oath of office. We are all here wearing the badge to uphold the law and protect those who need it. Whether you are wearing a brown, blue or grey uniform we are one family. Let's remember that!

The guy that wrote this comment is a idiot! As a Deputy Sheriff I have recieved plenty of training over the years, and I still have to attend forty hours of inservice every year just like you. About the mailman and security guard comments, don't you see our marked cars out serving warrants in THE WEST END! Yeah thats right we do dangerous work too. So why don't you educate yourself before you make another post. We are all brothers working on the same team. There should be no animosity between our departments. What ever happened to the old days were law enforcement officers would take care of one another, and their families. We need to bring those days back and unite as brothers in law enforcement.

Iam in absolute shock, and disdain to read these comments . So these men and women are not called so called police officers are you so blind to know that you are not on the same side. Are these souls any less dead. Wake up and join the team you all belong on the same side. DO NOT let those who wish you harm have the upper hand to see you fighting amongst yourselves. You are the BEST in the nation on every level lmpd or not, ACT LIKE IT. Back each other up support each other, and above all BE SAFE AND BE PROUD. I support you all. GOD BLESS.
