Arresting drunks isn't such a bad thing. Ask an Officer in the 7th Division on late watch who was hit by a drunk driver that had a BAC of over .20 %. My guess is he would probably have appreciated that person being arrested before he was involved in the crash. He has been out for over two months and if anyone wants to see his patrol car go over to the Newburg garage. Arresting drunks may take some time at the book but its worth getting them off the street. I also agree with comment that you can go out and hit the beat and lock up bad guys, recover stolen cars, dope, $$$, etc. Use some common sense and good faith and you should be ok. Thats my 2 cents.

It wasnt me, check 4th division 3rd platoon, not going to spell out the officers name. Do a little of that "Police Work" you are spouting off about. Officer never had 1 single disciplanary incident in his 5+ year career. Cracked out woman kicks the officer in the face as she's being put in the rear of the car. Officer pulls her out of the backseat, maces her and puts her in a hobble. Administration offers him 21 days he can accept their offer or they will push for termination. The administration even offering such a deal is ethically wrong. If he deserves to be fired, fire him, dont make offers and deals backed by threats. This isnt district court. To "Bully" officers into a deal out of fear of being fired is W R O N G. And this administration does it, but Im sure you already knew that Mr $53,000 and all the lock-ups you can get. What a stooge.
