NYPD Gets Awarded 10% Raise By Arbitration Panel

RE: NYPD Gets Awarded 10% Raise By Arbitration Panel

In July 2005 the Officers and Sergeants will receive a 2% pay raise. We will not get the certified figures on the net growth to the occupational license fees until March 2006. The contract states on page 21:

Section 5. In the event the occupational license fee revenue received by Metro Government in fiscal year 2005-2006 shall increase by more than four percent (4%), the wages and longevity pay for the members shall be increased by one-half of the percentage increase over 4% in occupational license fee revenue received. The increase in occupational license fee revenue shall be computed within 90 days of the close of the fiscal year and if an additional adjustment is due, it shall be retroactively added to the hourly rate so to be effective on July 1, 2006.

The above language in the second paragraph (section 5 of the contract) is straight out of the contract. I would like to see Jerry claim that he isn't making money for "His Hometown" next year during an election year.
