NYPD Gets Awarded 10% Raise By Arbitration Panel

New York, Cincinnati, Chicago, New Mexico, Washington DC all get substantial raises but we get......We risk all (more than other government employees) and I believe we should not have to work offduty work to provide a house, car and an occasional vacation for our families. If there was a surplus before merger and the Mayor has cut jobs and duplication there should be money for good raises. We were told our raise was based on the gross tax base but I have heard it will be on a ...net occupational license tax?....and we will only get the 2%. Is this true? Can anyone advise??????????
