LMPD Officer Shot and Killed During Hit and Run Investigation

Amen Brother, it was a very sad loss. Our society needs to put discipline back in the homes and schools and not call cps when someone spanks their kid in public. I grew up with a family that would bust my ********** when I had done wrong, and a teacher with a 2 inch thick fraternity paddle that was not afraid to use it. The parents did not care, because they knew their kids were going to get an education and discipline. This needs to be reimplemented in our society. The system did fail and it cost the community a good honest police officer. God bless him and his family.

You said it perfect. Parents are expecting the chid services and the police and everyone else to raise their children for them and when they do step in something like this happens because parents or a parent didn't have the balls to take their resposibility of their own. I think when under age kids are in and out of the system like Travis was then the parents need to be held liable as well as their children. I am so over hearing parents saying their children are out of control. Snatch them kids up and show them who runs the show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i did call the police but they thought it was a waste of there time i also called probation in indiana and louisville and they didnt want to be bothered either the only one that tryed was a probation officer that even asked your two sister and one brother to pick travis off the streets because he had shot at some others but because his mother and the other said he did it and your so called sisters and brothers didnt see it happen the said they couldnt do anything about it. So them so called sister and brother -Now i got a grandson without a father and no son no brother no , some one else has no dad and no husband so now you can blame it on the system. & i have papers to prove everything that i say is true . Travis was on probation in louisville and indiana and they was all to LAZY AND DIDNT WANA WASTE THEIR TIME knowing he was capable of being dangerous in the streets. they could of did thier job just as well. You say you miss your family. well how do you think i feel , imaian losing your child it aint as easy as some people may think. Your right Blood is thicker than water. I let it go along time ago and my family and i kept our comments to our selfs but i think it would be very respectful if you kept yours to you , Unless you know the whole story. I hear alot of stories beong told but no one knows the truth i guess theres people thats just a lil scared to speak the damn truth. One day the truth will be known. &Thats all i have to say, Thanks.
