Both arre excellent choices. I think Jerry "came out" early to discourage some of the light weights that were thinking about running. I don't think he's is prepaired for what will happen when he finally gets some serious Republican competition.

I do recall that Tom Owen, a gentleman politician, came pretty darn close to defeating the big headed wonder in the Democratic Primary in 2002. I believe it was 48% for Tom and 52% for Jerry. If there were that many Demeocrats against him then, then I believe he may face some even more serious challenges in this next election.

Of course we will have more evidence of his corruption bu then.

Hey Courier Journal why didn't you all ever print anything about the Titan Industry Scandal??? Why is it not news when the CEO of the City gives a 99 year lease to one of his cronies. A corporation that isn't even even listed in the stock market. I understand that it is a Company comprised of 3 people and Jerry Abramson is/was their legal counsel. Sounds pretty fishy to me, but then that isn't news to you if its one of your buddies.
