No Confidence Survey Results Released

Well I totally agree with you! Sad thing is as you can tell by the lack of surveys turned in, Police will not stand up for themselves even when its anonymous much less in public. I believe some have tried to get the public involved but how do you expect the public to take time out of their lives when the Police will not stop being apathetic. Police need to bond together and make a change, otherwise things will surely stay the same!

I now work in a good part of the city (tax paying). And I can honestly tell you that the majority of decent people that I come across in just friendly conversation, know what this mayor and chief are about. They kind of smile or wink and say "hows things with your new chief". When I respond with some type of political correctness B.S, the majoity of them say "just hang in there maybe he will take himself back to D.C."

OH How I Wish!!

I recently read where Police Departments in other cities have done such things ans held peaceful protests (with off-duty officers) outside of public venues ( the Mayor's office or the Ky Convention Center would be prime locations). Another department rented a billboard next to the busiest road in town with a brief message that said something to the effect of: "Welcome to _______ home of the lowest paid police department in the country". Obviously that specific message doesn't apply in this situation but it gives you an idea of different ways to get your message out to the general public.

This is the best response I have read on this site, but my man, the people who occupy this dept. as police officers would rather bi--- by posting comments on this web site rather than UNITE. The officers of this Dept. are to worried about themselves, well hell it is the millinium. It would be a cold day in hell before these officers united, so stop bit----- and live with it and stop the comments, and I will do the same as well.
