More Than A Simple Morale Issue

Yea quit your ********. I don't see any answers being thrown out. It does not matter who is in charge, no one will ever be happy with how the department is being run. Police can't bust heads like the old days. And I don't see any body banging on the chief's door to ask the police to start kicking ***** either. So what if the murder rate is up. You are still getting paid and a few more thugs are getting wacked. Life is good so deal with it. You still have health insurance, some one must be happy with that since your not getting a raise. This guy wont be in charge for ever. Kick back and enjoy the ride. Burn up they free city gas in that take home car. Enjoy your 4 day weekends (if your on midwatch) and all the other perks that come with the job.

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to some Police work again instead of the social worker job the new administration perfers. Remember all the officers you have treated unfairly in an attempt to gain favor with the racist protestors? In case you havent noticed, whenever jerry was in charge of this city( either as the old mayor or the new Metro mayor) homicide has gone through the roof!!!!!!!!!!! Don't believe it? Look it up,its records that are open to review that you candyass "concerened citizens" have been complaining about.And the reason for all this?? Because Jerry is more concerned about his next position down the road(senator/governor ) and getting as much face time on camera and taking credit for things that he and his handpicked, pot smoking.evidence destroying,officer intimidating puppet chief that he brought in here(who dosent have a clue about police work in the first place).The current administration has shown timw and time again that it will only support those officers that it is politically correct to help...all others are thrown to the wolves...but oh by the way if you are a two time convicted drug dealer who has suddenly found god,the mayor will give you the keys to the city and proclaim a day after you.....God save this city,because Lord knows the mayor wont let us do it!!!!!!!!....Oh,by the way,hey chief,I hear Mayor Marion Barry is gonna run again,why dont you go back up there and be chief??? To respond apparently to the moran who knows nothing about how both departments were run before merger to sit here and ask what we are complaining about? I would encourage that individual to do a ride along w/ an officer and just attempt to walk in an officers shoes for a shift!!!!
