1 dead after LMPD officers, National Guard shot at while attempting to disperse crowd

Splitting up the county would make a lot of sense. The old city has nothing in common with the old county districts. That's not just a political thing either, but includes religious vs hating religion, opposite social views, basic morality, loyalty to the country and every other category I can think of. It's not that the southern and east sides of the country all all the same, but a very different kind of melting pot than the old city, which resembles something straight out of a 3rd world country in the early stages of communist revolution.

People like Greg Fischer and members of the LMPD command appear to have no interest in stopping the violence. The FOP must hold a no confidence vote and begin holding daily media updates on the situation for the media and public. The passive FOP of the past isn't what the city needs today. Someone needs to correct the lies and half-truths told by Fischer's pack of liars.
