The only chief hired from outside the county who's ever been any good was Ricucci at JCPD. All the others were bad. That's a lesson nobody around here seems to learn. Few highly qualified leaders are going to sell their house and move their family for a police job. Look who just left for Baltimore and look who they brought back from Arizona to plague our lives for 8 years. Hardly anyone that desperate for a chief's position is worth working for.
