LMPD announces major changes within department

Some are applying for recruit and probably enough to fill 200 or 300 spots if they ever came up with the money to hire more people. They would have to hire everyone who met the minimum qualifications to do that.

If they ever decide to catch up with other employers, then more might apply, but beggars can't be choosers.

why would anyone apply for the police dept??? Terrible leadership , no support for the officers , crappy pay and insurance. And NO Public support. Everyone's so worried about a police officer shooting a black person and not the real problem black on black killing. Police shooting are over 99% justified. I don't know of any officer that wants to go to work and have to shoot or kill anyone.Just think if Hillary get elected this country WILL never recover to the great country it was before obama.
