I do believe the department is already being sued for trying to impose work restrictions during non-working hours on the SWAT team, so by all means, extend that lawsuit to the entire department. LMPD command never tired of getting sued and losing millions, because its the taxpayer dollars not theirs. Maybe the county attorney should sue the individual leadership involved in making those decisions afterwards to recoup the city's losses, since a lot of this appears to be negligent if not intentional.
