And let's be honest a unit that was 'rebranded' has become more focused on not hitting corners and wanting to be another drug unit (we already have 9 between the flex and narcotics units). Combine that with the apathy of the courts, the apparent incompetence of many in command, policies that appear to be designed to inhibit enforcement and our inability to recruit large enough pools of applicants to replace well trained veteran officers, we are in for a future of major hurt in this 'burg. Just an opinion for consideration.
