Right.. but Metro Gov is not gonna pay the OT for anything over 40 hrs... it will cost nearly a million a year.. AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN

The city ain't gonna pay us OT, but they may let you work three 12 hour shifts a week and call us all part time employees. Think of how much money that would save the city.

You can wish upon a star and maybe a magical fairy will make 12 hour shifts a reality. In the meantime....

Even without changing the law...they can pay overtime for the week we work 44 hours, but we can agree to take a drop in pay equivalent to the 4 hours of overtime....so effectively we would be paid the same.

I wanna work 40 straight hours and have like 5.4 days off in a row....MAKE IT HAPPEN CHIEF.
