Radio put it out as ABC officer 10-30. I believe he actually does work for west buechel, but not sure. The officer appeared to be smart enough and capable enough - not an idiot. Learned clamp/insert/type holsters can be a bad idea for retention. He WAS scared, as I would have been if someone got my weapon. The suspect was a decent sized guy, extremely irate, and on a lot of liquid courage. Don't be so quick to judge. He saw a woman being assaulted while off duty and tried to help. He didn't just drive on by like everyone else......
