FOP President lashes out at 'sensationalists, liars and race-baiters'

The Sgt's exam is more than a promotional exam for new people in the no-retirement system. It's the last and only chance the department will have to retain anyone before they start applying for safer jobs after policing gets less interesting. Nobody is going to work the street 20 years when you can't even count on a pension. If people think crime is bad now, just wait until then.
