The big departments issue them and handle all repairs. LMPD does not. Since the city is too cheap to buy on-duty weapons, why dictate that officers can only carry 1 brand with mediocre accuracy? Why not establish a list of approved weapons and calibers? The Glock fanboy rants and strawman arguments on here are not convincing. It's just like a bunch of rednecks arguing about basketball teams.
