The old rules of professional courtesy can backfire if they end up getting in a bad accident a few minutes later and someone pulls your video. Anybody going more than 20 over the limit is getting cited, period. I don't ask anyone for favors either. I'd rather see a family member get cited and learn from their mistakes. If you think you're entitled to favors and hate my guts for doing so, then you're a rogue and no "brother" of mine.
