Thousands attend funeral to honor fallen officer

May 30th, 2013 @ 6:13PM (11 years ago)

This tragic event brought us together...let's not forget we are all family. Put the differences aside and lets use that energy for catching the POS who murdered our brother!

My brother, you will be missed. May God comfort your family and may you rest in peace.

I want to thank LMPD for the huge turnout of officers in support of our fallen brother, Jason Ellis. The amount of LMPD Officers at the visitation and today's funeral was overwhelming. That's not even counting the huge part LMPD Officers played at the ceremony, traffic control, opening doors, parking, etc. We could have never properly honored our brother without your help. I am truly grateful for you all. Driving home after the burial I reflected on these past two days and all the LMPD Officers in attendance. And I felt pride for having once worn that uniform alongside you fine officers. Semper Fi & Stay Safe.

My heart aches for the family left behind and I offer these words so that they may find comfort during their tragic loss. Rest assured that although your loved one has left this world way too soon at the hands of another, he has undoubtedly taken his rightful place serving his Lord in Heaven.

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God." Matthew 5:9

May you find peace in knowing that someday you will be reunited. Also know Jason's death will be avenged. There is no corner dark enough to hide in, nor no distance long enough for the coward to run, to escape from those of us who have been sent to relentlessly hunt them down. You are a wicked person and your evil actions have sealed your fate in this life and the next. As you grow tired and weary from constantly looking over your shoulder, one day you will find a gray menacing cloud approaching over the horizon behind you. That cloud will be wearing a campaign hat and the justice that will befall you will be swift and fierce. We will send you to meet your creator for FINAL JUDGEMENT!!!

"An evil man seeketh only rebellion: Therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him" Proverbs 17:11

Your Brother in Gray

Pharmacists and other health care professionals are diligent about ensuring that patients receive the correct medication. However, they are human, and once in a while they make mistakes. The doctor may prescribe the wrong dose or the wrong medication. Pharmacy staff may misinterpret the prescription or the wrong medication may be dispensed. There are several checks and balances to minimize medication errors, but sometimes the checks and balances fail. Medication errors can cause serious consequences.

What should you, the prudent consumer do to protect yourself? You should make sure that you have the correct medication. Before the Internet age, pill identification was accomplished by calling a pharmacy or using pill identification books at the local library or bookstore. The Internet has made it possible for anyone to use pill identifiers (pill finder), such as the Rxlist Pill Identifier, to ensure that they have the correct medication. You can identify drugs by imprint, color, shape, and brand or generic name. If you do not find a match, you should call your pharmacist. Some generic drugs are manufactured by several manufacturers, and pill identification databases may not have images of all the generic versions.

For pill identifiers to be valuable, you have to know the medication and strength you should have received. Therefore, start by understanding your condition and the medication and dose your doctor has prescribed for you. Using pill identifiers and knowing what medications your doctor has prescribed will prevent you from taking the wrong medication. Pharmacists are no longer the last line of defense against medication errors; consumers are.

What is the most important information I should know about gabapentin (Neurontin)?

You should not use this medication if you are allergic to gabapentin.

Before taking gabapentin, tell your doctor if you have kidney, liver, or heart disease.

You may have thoughts about suicide while taking gabapentin. Your doctor will need to check you at regular visits. Do not miss any scheduled appointments.

Report any new or worsening symptoms to your doctor, such as: mood or behavior changes, anxiety, depression, or if you feel agitated, hostile, restless, hyperactive (mentally or physically), or have thoughts about suicide or hurting yourself.

Do not stop taking gabapentin for seizures without first talking to your doctor, even if you feel fine. You may have increased seizures if you stop using gabapentin suddenly. You may need to use less and less before you stop the medication completely.

Contact your doctor if your seizures get worse or you have them more often while taking gabapentin.

Wear a medical alert tag or carry an ID card stating that you take gabapentin. Any doctor, dentist, or emergency medical care provider who treats you should know that you take seizure medication.

Side Effects Centers •Neurontin

•Gralise

Bardstown PD is receiving more threats that officers there will be killed. One by phone and one by letter according to the CJ. Scary crap. Be safe as possible brothers and sisters.
