UK Campus Police Officer Fired After Confrontation With Student

What does "FTO" have to do with any of this? Do you think the officer will get his job back by simply saying he was not trained properly? Absolutely not! "Why not?," you wonder. It's simple: this is not a training issue. It is an at-will and malicious violation of another's civil rights and using one's position of authority to do so. The officer was baited and took it. I regret this one incident of misjudgment has cost this officer his job, but we can all learn a lesson from this. Unless I'm inside my home or standing in front of a urinal, I always assume I am being video recorded (and that also means alone in my police cruiser).
