UK Campus Police Officer Fired After Confrontation With Student

wrong......it allows entry but DOES NOT ALLOW a search....The officer was set up and he fell hook line and sinker....

Actually he/she is right. The contract/agreement states, school officials only need reasonable suspicion of alcohol of drug activity.

Actually the officer's rights were not violated because he was immediately fire. His rights would have been violated had he been made to write a letter regarding the incident after his next tour of duty had expired or had he been administratively questioned about the incident without a 48 hour notice and without being provided a copy of the complaint or allegations against him. Not sure if any of those happened. He does have the right to appeal his firing.
