Louisville police chief wants study to prove department doesn't use racial profiling

This job is not so bad that someone can use it as an honest reason they are retiring from it.

No, it's not the same as it was, and yes, the politics can get old dealing with. But all in all, it doesn't come even close to being miserable. Command asks for very little and it's not that unreasonable. Problem is, if you keep wondering how wonderful this department would be if you ran it, you will never find peace.

Keep voting Democrat. Nothing will change. Not saying that Republican is the complete answer. The city of Chicago is an absolute corrupt cesspool and has been nothing but Democrat for many decades. Cities that go liberal eventually fail. These politicians care nothing about personal responsibility.

Yes I am a 30 year vet who has seen this dept get in the shape it's in now. No I didn't call anyone out for a fight, just a little one on one discussion on what it takes to be a good officer. I can brag that in 30 years I never have been to PSU and have had no disciplinary actions period. I do my job and have enjoyed it. I told my major today I would be retiring this year, so u can have it. I hope you can do a better job than I have. No I don't abuse the system and if I told you my my name and where I work you could probably get nobody in my division to say anything bad about me. I'll leave it at that. So since your so great you can pick up where I left off and I hope you feel as good as I do when you reach retirement age. I figure no matter what you say on here somebody will always disagree. But ain't that what we fought for in this country.
