I beg to differ. I did not demonstrate ignorance.

""""""No disrespect, but you have demonstrated your ignorance of being 25 miles away from backup. That means ANYONE!!!!!!"""""""

I merely was pointing out that there is a difference in patrolling different divisions with a possible solution to lower the risk to a more manageable level. If you are on the same boundary of beats then response time wont be that much different if you are both close by because you got together before hand and discussed the number of runs to a particular area and made plans to address.

where did I say these are the rules or imply it would be easy?? I just made suggestions to specific situations.

""""" What you propose isn't that easy sir, all rules do not apply.""""

I did not say this is the end all be all of how to handle things. There will always be exceptions that we all adapt to ( see previous post about different geography\population) in each area we patrol. No where did I say I have a magic ball that tells me how to respond to each run.""""""""One more thing, I need the crystal ball that you use to let you know which runs you will need back up, before hand.""""""" If you read the previous post it cited self initiated traffic stops and self initiated activities in high crime areas on a beat. I did not say or state what high crime was in any area. That is for you to decide on what needs to be addressed since it is your area. Like I said, take some ownership if it is a problem and address it. The only thing consistent in your posts is that you complain of no respect then chastise any dissenting opinion by dismissing out of hand(That means ANYONE!!!!!!)and calling people ignorant.
