Louisville officer sues WHAS personality Terry Meiners for slander

The point is it's 2012, Why is it ok to make fun of an African American police officer? That's old school thinking. I'm not being over sensitive I am an European American. If I am called a white guy I am not offended but I don't have the same history....If you are in the public spotlight and not a comedian then I would see this as inappropiate. He would not be in a legal battle if he had dumped on Sam as a Barney. "Black Barney" just screams hey let's make a derogatory comment about his race.
