Louisville officer sues WHAS personality Terry Meiners for slander

Meiners makes it sound like he was driving 55 on the Expressway listening to the bible on his IPOD. No doubt he was speeding. Meiners had his feelings hurt and was mad because the officer didn't ask for his autograph and kiss his A$$! He has some bucks so he decides to go hire one of his cronies from the local defense attorney pool in town and go to trial. The county attorney's don't really know what a court room looks like other than to look through case jackets. Most of them have probably have never tried case. I'm sure the effort was poor on their part but the fact he was found not guilty now everyone thinks the officer had a bad case. Meiners should have paid his ticket, went to traffic school, had the case amended to defective equipment and kept his chops shut on the air. He could have said something positive on the radio about the officer and the dept and went on about his business. Instead he runs his mouth on the air taking advantage of the radio station for personal use. Regardless of what happens with the law suit, this isn't good press for Meiners and makes him look like a big baby.

The many retired officers from LPD and JCPD will now come forward and testify for Terry Meiners..23 retired officers have been stopped and written and talked down to. The LMPD Officers know all about this Officer that is planning to retire and hopes to get some cash from Terry Meiners for his retirement...It use to be about getting Court pay...His files within the Dapartment will now come out...I'm glad that this has came to light...Cromity is a bad apple.
