All arguments on this subject are in effect, spreading the blame away from someone that committed a crime.

Campare it someone that laft thier garage door open, some thug steals the bicycle that was in the garage, he ridees the bike tothe nearest Thortons and rtobs the place. Is the homeowner responsible? How is that different? It is a mode of transportation.

THAT PERWSON STOLE SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT THIERS AND COMMITTED ANOTHER CRIME. ie: STRUCK A PEDESTRIAN AND KILLED HER!!!! THAT PERSON COMMITTED SEVERAL CRIMES WITH STOLEN PROPERTY!!!!

You can get on her all you want. That law was created because of the number of car thefts. IT WAS IN THE MEDIA WHEN IT WENT DOWN!!!!!

JUST BECAUSE SOMETHING IS EASY TO STEAL, DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO STEAL IT!!! It was not thiers to steal.

All that law does it attempt to hold responsible persons accountable, when a irresponsible is the problem.

That law was the easy way out.

OK maybe so. BUT what about the SOP and directive from the Chief's office that you are not to leave your police vehicle running?

please tell me what section of the KRS (be specific) says an officer can leave their car running. This way we can use it with PSU when they start writing people up for leaving cars running while in roll call.
