Bystander, Suspect Killed In Crash Following Police Chase

I have never, ever left my car running without someone being in it, preferably behind the wheel. I would hope that every officer would, in honor of Ms. Brandon, cite at least one person for it. THERE IS NO REASON FOR IT. I particularly love the folks who have to warm it up "for the baby" when the baby is bundled up so much they are sweating. Properly dressed babies (and most are overdressed in the winter) won't have any problem at all spending a few minutes in a cold car.

For one it should not be illegal to let your car run in your driveway that is just a dumb law. Secondly Police should not enforce a law that they break all the time. Every time I go into a gas station you officers leave your vehicles running while standing in there way longer then it would take for a car to warm up. The idiot who stole the car was just that an idiot. Stop making excuses for these criminals especially for the ones under 18.
